Dr. Kristen Hook grew up in upstate NY, where she graduated from Cairo-Durham High School in 1995. An avid soccer player, Dr. Hook has always been interested in the human body and how proper care and nutrition can help it perform at its highest potential. It was a soccer injury that led Dr. Hook down the path toward becoming a chiropractor. She attained her Bachelor of Science degree from Regents College before graduating Summa Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in 2000.
While in chiropractic school, Dr. Hook was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She underwent an aggressive treatment plan consisting of chemotherapy and radiation. Dr. Hook has since been healthy and is therefore passionate about helping others with their healthcare needs. She has been in practice since 2001, working in the Boston area, as well as western MA.
Dr. Hook is the proud mother of four children, Anthony, Nicholas, Michael, and Mia. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.
